Construction and design information for the replacement Esther Jackson Elementary School will be presented at a November 10 community meeting at 6:30 PM in the school cafeteria.
The school's architect as well as construction management and facilities planning representatives from the school system will be on hand to show the school's proposed design and discuss its special features. Spanish translation will be available.
As you know, at the end of this school year, the current building will be torn down so that a new building can begin construction on this site. In the meantime, our students and staff will temporarily move to a new school under construction on Highway 9 in Roswell. Once the new Esther Jackson building is complete in August 2016, students and staff will "swing" back to our original location on Martin Road.
Please note that this meeting on November 10 is only to discuss construction and design of the new EJ building. The current redistricting process in North Fulton will not be on the evening's agenda.
