It's just a few more days until school starts! The PTA is ready for the upcoming school year and we're so excited to meet new members, welcome back existing members and get everyone pumped up for a great school year.
Open House is this Thursday, August 9th from 4pm - 7pm.
We know you're anxious to stop by your child's classroom to meet his/her teacher. But also make time to stop by the PTA booth! You can check out our spiritwear, meet the PTA officers and most importantly, sign up to become a PTA member! You should have a PTA form in the packet sent home with your student at the end of the previous school year. But don't worry if you can't find yours. We'll have plenty!
Also start thinking about which events you'd like to volunteer for! There are many to choose from. If you're anxious to get started with your volunteer work, consider volunteering for the Back to School Bash! This year, it will be held on Friday, August 24th. Unlike previous years, the Bash will be held during the school day. The teachers are very excited about this event and parent volunteers make it even better!
Right around the corner, in September, there will be opportunities for the moms to volunteer for Donuts for Dads! The moms had their time in May before Mother's Day. Now let's celebrate the dads and other special men in our children's lives. Donuts for Dads will be on Friday, Sept 7th.
Also in September is our one and only fundraiser...Fun Run! Kickoff will be held on Friday, Sept 14th and the Fun Run will take place on Friday, Sept 28th.
