Countdown to the 1st Day of School!

The EJE PTA hopes you and your child have enjoyed the summer break! Are you jumping for joy and counting down until the first day? Or are you wishing there were a few more weeks of summer vacation?

As of today, July 18th, there are 26 days until the 1st day of school!

Check out our list for making the 1st day of school less painless for everyone!

1. Go ahead and find the packet of information that your child(ren) brought home at the end of the school year in May. Fill out the necessary forms and have them ready to turn in at Open House.

2. Attend Open House on Thursday, August 9th and meet your child's teacher(s). Open House is from 4pm - 7pm.

3. While at Open House, look for the PTA booth! We'll be glad to help you sign up for the 2012-2013 school year. Check out spirit wear and talk to PTA volunteers and officers.

4. Tell a friend to join the PTA with you!

5. Tell a friend to like us on Facebook.

6. Get your kids back on their "school" schedule with regular bedtimes and wake up times.

7. Get excited about the 1st day back to school! The teachers, administrators and PTA are super excited to be back in school and we love enthusiastic children!
